USM’s Research Creativity and Management Office (RCMO) is a one-stop centre which handles matters pertaining to research information, grants, university facilities, equipment and human resources. The office was set up to be the bridge between USM researchers, grants financiers and the industry.

The office serves to complement the university’s fully equipped research facilities and world class manpower. Building on USM’s existing firm foundation, RCMO aims to promote USM as an excellent research centre in this region. |

It has research expertise in various fields covering a wide range of subjects and together with the university’s commercialisation arm
USAINS Holdings, provides incubation centres within the university to facilitate collaborative research work. |

With RCMO and the university working hand-in-hand, USM’s research work has gone global thanks to its achievement of top awards in worldwide competitions. |
